Laura ZIMMERMAN wife of John HIMES died April 24 of blood poisoning, aged 21. She left an infant son, young husband and widowed mother to mourn her early and sudden death. A large concourse of relatives attended the funeral at Bethel Church where the services were conducted by Rev. William Harshbarger with interment at Bethel Cemetery. - kbz

Died at her home near Whitesville, on last Sunday morning at seven o'clock, Mrs. Laura Himes, aged twenty-one years, seven months and a few days old.  The deceased was married at the age of fourteen, to John Himes she was the only child of Mrs. Mary Zimmerman.  Laura's sudden death was a great shock to the community.  She leaves a husband, infant son, an invalid mother and a large circle of friends who mourn her loss.  Interment at three o'clock Monday evening at the Dunkard cemetery. – thanks so much Kim
